I’ve got a Palm in my pocket!

This article describes what happened when we put Palm Pilots (Palm IIIxe’s) in the hands of 28 sixth graders, 6 of whom could be considered to have special needs. Four of these students were receiving services through individualized education programs (IEPs) and accommodation plans, and English was a second language for another. Another student, though not identified as having a disability, took medication to help manage attention deficit disorder. In addition, we make recommendations and reflect on practice.
